About
I am a mathematics postdoctoral researcher at the University of Jyväskylä in the Geometry and Analysis group, working with Tuomas Orponen. I did my PhD at the University of St Andrews, Scotland (supervised by Jonathan Fraser and Kenneth Falconer) and my undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, Ontario.
I am primarily interested in fractal geometry and dynamical systems, including (but not limited to) the geometry of self-similar and self-affine sets and associated invariant measures, multifractal analysis, and general dimension theory and dimension interpolation. You can find more information on my research page, in my CV, looking at my publications, or reading my expository work.
In my spare time I develop open-source software which mostly centres around tooling, such as an automatic bibliography generator, a fuzzy picker TUI, a Vim session manager, or LaTeX templating software. I also greatly enjoy cooking and taking photos.
